I am a collector and wanted an excellent driver reminiscent of my 1960's high school years.  The car came with a 283 cubic inch engine / 4-barrel carburetor, automatic transmission, original drum brakes /chrome reverse wheels / deluxe bumpers and was in overall excellent condition.

Upgrades I made to the car included replacing the front drums to disc brakes, new master cylinders etc. (I saved all original brake parts which will go with the car).  I traded the automatic transmission for a later model Muncie 4-speed transmission.  I had the 4-speed transmission gone through to insure that it was in good condition.  I purchased a new Hurst 4-speed floor linkage and had a restoration shop install the 4-speed transmission and Hurst linkage.  My goal was to keep the car as original as possible yet add certain performance options that were popular when I was in high school during the 1964-1967 time period.  The quality of all work performed has been outstanding.   I purchased a new windshield for the car and replaced the chrome reverse wheels with American Racing Mag's (vintage retro wheels from the 1960's) and added Michelin black wall P225/70/R15 Pilot black wall radial tires (slightly oversized).  These tires were very expensive and difficult to locate.

I asked Legendary Motorsports / Specialty Cars (in Castle Rock) to look over the car and give me an honest opinion after inspecting the car.  According to the inspector my car is one of the nicest they have seen, body and frame are in excellent condition, the chrome and trim are almost perfect.  The interior is mint and features an original radio and gauges.
